Pen Cottage is very convenient for the Festival Theatre, University and the Hospital. Chichester City centre is within walking distance.  Alternatively a half hourly bus service to the centre of Chichester stopping at the Cathedral operates during the day. 

Goodwood, with its many attractions, is about a five minute drive away.

There are two excellent restaurants close by, as well as several good pub/restaurants just a short drive away.
